After many years living in Europe, volunteering in an orphanage, Kel and his wife jumped on their bicycles and took an 8000 km detour before returning to their much loved Dunedin. Having trained in Australia and gardened a little in Europe, he soon established Bush & Shrub. Though Kel is kept busy by a lovely bunch of regular clients, he usually has time to fit in new people. His love is fruit trees and is always searching for more of them. Working independently also allows Kel to set aside time to volunteer with former refugees and for a Christian community.
